Kobe Bryant overrated? Geez come on dude you must be crazy. I hate him as much as any athlete in the world other than Barry Bonds but to say he is overrated is crazy!

How can anyone with any knowledge of football say Dan Marino was overated? The "Man" has owned practically every passing record in football. Miami never had a running game while Dan was quarterback, so teams knew they were going to pass the ball yet they couldn't stop Dan. To say the Dan was overated is UTTERLY RIDICULOUS.

yeah dan was good but if he was so good to own all the passing records then why did he never win a championship...to me greatness is achieved when you win the big game and i think that peyton manning will go down in history as one of the best quarterbacks to never win a championship

and kobe...the next MJ come on who ever thought he could live up to that height they are two new kids in the league that are pretty [censored] close to MJ...Wade and James...and kobe without shaq=destruction even though the lakers made it to the playoffs this year kobe has to realize that he can not be the only man on a team and expect to win a championship...i mena come on the was evident with allen iverson in his prime

i disagree... your own personal accolades (sp) should not be judged on how good your team does.

I mean no1 ever mentions yeah Ted Williams was a great hitter but he never won the series.

Marino could not carry Miami to the super bowl by himself. When the Ravens won the super bowl was it because they had a great qb? no they had one of the best defenses assembled in recent history. just as ben rothlisbuger isnt the only reason the steelers won the super bowl. yes he is a solid nfl qb, is he in the top 5 no (not yet), but the steelers won the super bowl by havin a great defense, great running attack, good receivers and most important luck. the best play ben made all year was when bettis fumbeled inside the red zone at indy and he made THE TACKLE.
